Routine after routine just leaving you frustrated?
FORGET ONE-SIZE-FITS ALL.
FIND YOUR PATH.
FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL!

Trumpet Brain Teaching is formed around a simple principle; everyone is unique!
No two students are going to have the exact same anatomy, thought process, perception of sensation or life experience. So let’s move away from assigning; ‘this works for me’ to; ‘let’s find what works for you?’.
Why keep fighting against a prescribed method that isn’t yielding improvements? Or practicing a range exercise over and over simply because it helped your friend? Instead, let’s enhance your understanding of the ‘source code’, so you’re able to start reprogramming yourself!
To begin with, we learn the science so that you can now understand WHY and HOW the playing process is occurring. A bit of basic physics, rudimentary biology, a brief study of human anatomy and you can start to see what was preventing you from achieving your goals.
Then we get to work starting to address your problems, and finding solutions rooted in scientific understanding. Solutions that are tailored for you, your body and your situation.
This is where my experience comes in (you can read about MY STORY here). This is not something that an already great player has reverse-engineered to teach. Trumpet Brain Teaching WAS my process, I was a relatively weak and struggling player who had worked tirelessly through many mainstream trumpet methods whilst never truly overcoming my problems. It was only with a little life-changing guidance, and a lot of hard work, that I started this process which has made me the player, and teacher, I am today.
My guidance can help you to effectively plan your practice, strike the balance between healthy experimentation versus consistent input and offering the insight and knowledge I accumulated when following the programme myself. What is more, I pride myself on offering additional help outside of the lesson; including video sharing, written assessment and advice, or even practice supervision if desired.
It’s not a quick fix, and you won’t change your playing overnight, but what I do promise is that you will start to notice changes and improvements on those areas that you couldn’t before, after all; if you actually understand the physical process, its very easy to start affecting changes upon it!
